Terms & Conditions
1. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions By engaging PM Wells Decorating Services Ltd (referred to as "the Company" or "we") for painting and decorating services, you (referred to as "the Client" or "you") agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. These terms and conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between the Client and the Company.

2. Services

2.1. The Company agrees to provide painting and decorating services to the Client in accordance with the specifications and scope of work as discussed and agreed upon in writing or through a formal quotation.
2.2. Any changes or additional services requested by the Client must be agreed upon in writing and may result in a revised quotation or contract.
2.3. Quotations will be valid for up to 6 months. Any changes will be confirmed in writing.
2.4. If work is carried out on a 'day rate' basis, the rate quoted is per person per day.

3. Payment

3.1. The Client agrees to pay the Company the agreed-upon sum for the services provided. Payment is usually expected within 7 days of the invoice being sent unless agreed otherwise.
3.2. Payment methods accepted by the Company may include bank transfer, cheque, or other agreed-upon methods.
3.3. Invoices not paid within the agreed-upon timeframe may incur interest charges at a rate determined by the Company.

4. Cancellation

4.1. The Client may cancel the contract or scheduled work by providing written notice to the Company. The client will be liable for the cost of any materials purchased specifically for the work.
4.2. The Company reserves the right to cancel the contract at any time, providing reasonable notice to the Client, due to unforeseen circumstances, safety concerns, or other valid reasons.

5. Materials and Equipment
​
5.1. The Company will provide all necessary materials and equipment unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
5.2. The Client is responsible for ensuring that the premises are accessible and ready for the work to commence. This includes clearing the work area of personal belongings and ensuring that any pets are safely secured.

6. Health and Safety
​
6.1. The Company is committed to maintaining a safe working environment and will adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations.
6.2. The Client is responsible for informing the Company of any potential hazards or risks on the premises.

7. Insurance
​
7.1. The Company holds liability insurance to cover any damage or accidents that may occur during the course of the work.
7.2. The Client is responsible for ensuring that their own property and possessions are adequately insured.

8. Completion of Work
​
8.1. The Company will make reasonable efforts to complete the work within the agreed-upon timeframe, but specific completion dates are not guaranteed.
8.2. The Client will be informed of any delays or unforeseen circumstances that may affect the completion date.

9. Dispute Resolution
​
9.1. In the event of a dispute between the Client and the Company, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter amicably through negotiation and mediation.
9.2. In the event that an amicable resolution cannot be reached, the matter may be referred to the appropriate legal authorities.

10. Governing Law
​
10.1. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

11. Changes to Terms and Conditions
​
11.1. The Company reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. The Client will be provided with notice of any changes in writing.
